Welcome to the official blog of Trevor Neil White! I’m an indie author who loves reading and writing everything, though my main areas of focus are sci-fi/fantasy, horror, and poetry. I also do short films, narrations, movie reviews, and a podcast or two. Oh, and I’m a lawyer… but hey, nobody’s perfect!
With my stories, I aim to combine familiar supernatural tropes with experimental flourishes and/or Hollywood-style spectacle, injecting classic premises with careful prose, three-dimensional characters, and meaningful themes–be that the impact of entrenched power structures on marginalized groups, the effects of technology on human relationships, or answering the question of just how weird a monster can look. As a geek since childhood, I’m not above humor and absurd asides as well, but always with an eye to be entertaining, not just goofy or edgy for the sake of it. I hope you enjoy what I come up with, and even if you don’t, that’s cool too–I’m always looking to improve!
